Hiroshima 2024/1/8

Yesterday, we held a New Year's party with my firefighting brigade friends and their families.

In Japanese culture, we usually celebrate 'bounenkai,' which is a year-end party, and 'shinnenkai,' a New Year's party, multiple times with friends or co-workers.

There were more than 30 people gathered at the garage of Sweet Home, Hiroshima!

I prepared more than 30 okonomiyaki for them, including around 15 children.

The children became friends with each other and ran around the garage, making a lot of noise.

I also offered charcoal-roasted boar meat.

Despite the abundance of food I prepared, they only took photos of some dishes, not all of them.

But I was happy because they were all satisfied with what I cooked.

Sweet Home, Hiroshima!

You can know a lot about Japanese culture. We want to know about your culture.
